“What do you mean you have a son for me Susan?”
Carl asked the woman
“Few days after we broke up, I found out I was pregnant”
“Why did you not come back to tell me?”
“I came back, I came to your office that morning, but Sarah your receptionist told me you were not around, I asked her when you would be back, she said she has no idea as you just got engaged to Floral and you both are celebrating your engagement”
“Sarah told you that?”
Carl asked in disbelieve
“Yes she did”
“I was not even engaged to Floral then, but few days after we ended it, I travelled to get over the heart break, you never gave me a reason why you left”
“I had to leave, your dad threatened me to leave you alone, else he would make my life miserable, I had to break up and go my way”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
