Zane groaned, pushing himself off the ground. Blood dripped from his temple, his breathing ragged. The raw power of that creature had shaken him—shaken all of them.
“We need to move,” Selina said, forcing her aching body upright. “Now.”
Owen helped Elira up as she struggled to regain her balance. “We’re in no shape to fight Roman and whatever the hell that was.”
Zane wiped blood from his mouth and nodded. “Then we don’t fight. We use this chaos to get the hell out of here.”
