The forest thinned as Selina and the group approached the outskirts of The Cursed Hollow. The once-dense canopy of trees gave way to a jagged landscape, where the earth was cracked and uneven, swallowed by deep ravines and steep cliffs. A thick fog clung to the ground, curling around the gnarled roots of trees that had long since withered. The air was eerily still, broken only by the distant hoot of an owl and the whisper of the wind through the cliffs. No one spoke.
