Kade didn’t let me go.
Not even after my breath slowed and the trembling in my legs eased. His hands stayed locked on my hips, his golden eyes still fierce, possessive, daring Ronan to take one step closer.
But Ronan… Ronan didn’t back down.
“Look at her,” Ronan murmured, circling until he stood behind me again. His fingers brushed over my arm, down to my hand, the lightest touch but enough to send a shiver through me. “She’s still wanting. You feel it, don’t you, Alpha?”
Kade’s jaw flexed. “I feel everything.”
I could see the war in him. The part of him that wanted to rip Ronan apart, and the part that… wanted me so badly, he didn’t care if it meant sharing for one more breath.
