I woke up the next morning feeling happy. Samantha actually kissed me last night. She surprised me when she did it, but I was so glad that she did. It gives me hope she will accept being my mate.
I got out of bed and hopped into the shower. As I was showering, my father linked both me and Braxton.
“In my office, both of you in 15 minutes!” he ordered through the link before quickly closing it.
“What the hell?” Braxton muttered in the link.
“No idea,” I replied before rinsing off the soap and getting out of the shower to dry off and get dressed.
I made it down to my father’s office, and Braxton was already there.
