" What a tragedy!" " I am tired of the repeated cycle, curse; what do I call my life?"
Kathayia was a sweet and descent teenager. She was tall and gorgeous; long curly hair, caramel skin. Beautiful as one can ever dream to be. However, she once said "my life, my youth, my beauty was all stolen from me."
Every moment of her life she felt like she was fed with lime. Every moment had a tinge of bitterness. What could make someone's life so bitter that every day they see no beauty no joy? She loved her mother dearly and prayed for the best life for herself and her baby brother Kiel. Unfortunately, she became the cost of "the good life."
Every day her childhood replayed in her head. Her childhood became her nightmare. There was no escape. The time of her life where she was supposed to enjoy; enjoy innocence, youth and pure happiness. For Kathayia it was a bed of "sour lemons."
"Leave me alone! Leave me alone!"
she shouted as her tall, strapid, ball headed father forced his way onto her.
"You are mine; I take care of this family!"
"Tell your mother and you all end up on the streets," he whispered as he did his "dirty deed". That is what it was to Kathayia; a "dirty deed."
Kathayia could never be the same. Her life was ruined. That is how she felt. " I am useless! worthless!"
The second time her stepfather committed his "dirty deed," Kathayia fell unconscious.
Her stepfather tried everything to awake her. Minutes went by....he shook like the leaves on a tree on a breezy day. Water released through his pores. He began to sweat profusely. He was unsure of what to do as millions of thoughts raced through his head. In the wink of an eye, Kathayia's mother badged in the front door. "Baby! Are you home early?"
