Ethan's P.O.V.

As Max and I were cooking dinner for everyone, Max stood at the stove with his back to the girls on the couch and I was standing by the island facing them.. They were out of hearing range, but I could see them giggling and talking about us from time to time..

Layla would catch my eyes everytime I would look their way, then she would quickly look away, blushing hard..

I couldnt help my smirk when this time I caught her eyes lingering on me, and her cheeks turned even more red than before...

"What are you smirking about..?" Max questioned, as he came over next to me to wash his hands..

"Layla just lingered on me, and I caught her doing it, so now she is as red as a tomato.." I chuckled as Max looked over at Layla, who was still bright red in the face..

"Haha.. Haven't you thought about going further with her.?" Max asked, and went back to the stove..

"Everyday, lately.. But it doesnt feel like she's ready and the last thing I want is to somehow push her away by pursuing her too soon.." I confessed with a deep sigh..

I want this girl so badly and accedentally bumping into her in the hall, when she was only in a towel, was like a bomb of dirty thoughts blew off in my head.. If Yasmin hadn't been in the bathroom and Layla had never been taken by her ex, I would have buried my face in hers and claiming those sweet lips of hers..

I wanted to push her back into the bathroom, rip the towel off her and give her orgasm after orgasm, showing her pleasure like no one have shown her before..

"Are you still with me, man.?" Max asked and stopped my train of thought..

"Yeah sorry, got caught up in my head.." I said..

"Yeah, I can see that, hahaha..!" he said and hinted at me to look down..

"Crap..!" I exclaimed, when I saw my erection trying to break through the zipper in my jeans..

Max was full-heartedly laughing at me because he'd never seen me so embarrassed before..

The girls all looked our way because of Max's loud laughing and I gave him a look begging him to stop before they would join us in the kitchen out of curiosity.. I don't want them to see it. It's bad enough that Max saw and will tease me about it, until the end of time..

Max thankfully stopped laughing and he then decked the table as I finished the salad and took the roast out of the oven to rest before cutting it..

"Dinner is ready.." Max called out to the girls and a few minutes later they came and sat down..

Max, Mille and Jackie sat on one side and Yasmin, Layla and I on the other side..

"Are you too hot, I can open a window if it would help..?" I asked Layla because her face was very flushed..

"N-no, I'm okay but thank you." she stuttered a little..

We all ate and talked about our finals coming up.. All of us have two exams tomorrow and then three the next day and the last two on friday..

"I'm really nervous about my biology exam, it's my hardest class and our teacher has been so hard on us this year.." Jackie told us..

"For me it's math." Max confessed..

"I would agree with Max on math.." I chuckled..

We looked between Mille and Layla, waiting to hear what topic they found hard.. They both just giggled along with Jackie..

"There isnt anything we really find that hard.. And we have been ahead for most of the year, so we had time to do more than most of the people in our classes.. So we are not that worried.." Mille said and Layla nodded in agreement with what she said..

"Even you Layla.? With everything that has happened.?" Max questioned.

"Yeah.. But I would have been nervous if I had to take the test in a full classroom.. It was overwhelming enough coming back to campus, as you saw, so maybe having all eyes on me during the test, would stop me from being able to do my best and I would be a distraction for the rest of the class in taking their focus away from the exsam.. And I would hate being the cause of my classmates to maybe not fully concentrate and getting a bad grade.." Layla confessed, looking sad down at her plate..

I felt bad for her, that she put that kind of pressure on herself like that.. She doesn't have to concern herself with all the other people, but with her kind-hearted nature, of course, she would.. And I can understand why, seeing all those people surrounding her the day she was back, would be overwhelming for any person, having gone through what she has been through..

"It's amazing that the headmaster came up with a plan so you can still take the finals on campus but on your own.." Mille said with a smile..

"Well you too, Mille.." Jackie said with a smile..

"It's mostly because we have the same classes and that Layla has one with her when we are going to and from the finals.." Mille responded with a shrug on her shoulders..

After we all finished eating, Yasmin went to her room and the girls cleared the table and cleaned the kitchen after Max and I had cooked for us.. Max and I sat outside in the lounge area and waited for the girls..

"Hey guys, can you light up the firepit? Then we'll be out with some drinks in a minute." Mille said as she poked her head out of the kitchen window..

"Of course." Max said, and found the things to get a fire started.

"Thank you..!" Mille said and got her head back inside..

5 minutes passed, then Jackie and Mille came out first and took a seat.. Mille sat on the couch on the seat next to Max and Jackie took a chair, leaving the last seat on the other couch next to me..

Layla stepped out and looked around and saw the last seat next to me.. I looked out at the garden so I wasn't looking at her as she sat down.. I sensed her getting closer and when I felt her sit down, I turned my attention back to the others..

The couch is a two-seater, so we were quite close to each other, Max and Mille had the three-seated couch but they were sitting just as close as me and Layla..

Mille handed drinks around to all of us, Max and I got beers, and the girls had some fruity-looking drinks..

"Thanks for dinner, by the way.." Layla thanked Max and I with a smile..

"Yeah thank you, it was delisious.!" Mille and Jackie agreed..

"You are welcome, we're glad you liked it.." I said with a smile and we all cheers and enjoyed the warm fire place..
