Ethan's P.O.V.

I was excited about lunch and seeing Layla back on campus even though this morning was enough to keep my blood boiling throughout the day..

Max met me at the canteen entrance and then we found our table and then just waited for the girls to join us.. After a few minutes, Jackie showed up, so now we just missed Layla and Mille..

"Hey guys, Mille and Layla went home so they are not coming.." she said apologetically..

"Why, what happened?" I asked, concerned, thinking back on this morning that it had something to do with it, or something similarly must have happened..

"Mille didn't really fill me in, but the campus gossip site did.. Haven't you seen it..?" Jackie questioned..

"No, I havent looked at my phone all morning.." I said and quickly pulled it out of my pocket and found the gossip site..

Senior Anatasia is getting expelled for calling her fellow senior Layla an attention-seeking slut, for being back on campus so soon after being kidnapped by her ex..

Sources from inside the library today saw it happening and after Anastasia called Layla a slut, Layla took of her dress and uncovered all of her cuts and bruises for Anastasia to see, and shared describing details of what her ex Alex did to her while he held her captive for DAYS..

Personally, I think Anastasia gets what she deserves, and luckily the headmaster, Mr. Adler witnessed everything for himself, and shut Anastasia right up when she whined to him, to expel Layla for 'nuddity' on campus, while clearly still in her underware..

Layla only showed her bruises to Anastasia in hopes of her not to go around and tell people that Layla liked what happened to her..

My sources were horrified by the sight of poor Layla, who fell to the floor sobbing after having exposed and explained herself..

Love and prays go out to Layla.. Nobody should joke or take the fact that Layla was captured lightly, and if you do, all I can say is that you are a horrible person, no one wants to be molested by someone they love or once loved..

To all of you that don't share a class with her or that know her personally, LEAVE HER ALONE..! She is still recovering and just trying to finish her senior year - graduate and then move on..

Max was shaking his head next to me, having read it too from over my shoulder, "She really can't seem to catch a break.." he said and sat back down..

I was speechless and didn't know what to say or do.. That Anastasia flat out called Layla a slut in front of the Headmaster, she is finally getting what she deserves.. Karma is good..

We all grabbed some food, ate and then got to our next class of the day..

In one of our smaller breaks, I was sitting at the desk in my last class, and was scrolling my phone, when I suddenly got a text from Max..

Max - Hey dude, Mille just texted me and wanted to know if we wanted to hang out at Mille's house..?

Me - Wait, I thought they went back to Layla's house.?

Max - They did, but Mille had to look after her sister so they went to her house instead.. So are you down to go.!?

Me - Sure, I'm down.. But wait a second..?

When the f**k have you gotten Mille's number..?

Max - I gave her mine the day when we were looking for possibilities for the locations of where Alex could have taken Layla..

Me - Well thanks for the opdate.! ;P

I'll head straight to the car when class is over, so I will meet you there..

Max - Your welcome bro.! :D

Just as I closed our text message, the bell rang and the class started, so I put the phone in my bag because if our teacher found them distracting they would confiscate it without hesitation..

My last class was math, and I was so bored because it was just a repetition of all the work we had done the past year.. I was a steady B+ or A, so I lent a hand to some of my classmates sitting next to me, who were struggling, because they spent most of their senior year partying like crazy.. But still I found it boring that I had to sit through it, mostly because if I could just skip it, I could go see Layla sooner.. And then again, I would have to wait for Max since we always drive together to campus, unless we have separate plans after..

My teacher looked satisfied when he glanced my way and saw that I was helping my fellow classmates, instead of just doing nothing with my time in his class..

Out of the corner of my eye I saw some of the A+ girls sitting and gossiping and could kind of hear that it was about Anastasia getting expelled so close to graduation.. Anastasia had the same math class as me, annoyingly.. But I'm glad I wouldn't have to look at her or have her constantly trying to flirt with me, even though ever since the steak house she backed off for some time, which was nice..

Before the class ended, I had helped 5-6 people with catching up a little and understanding more of what was most important to use when it came to our finals, and as soon as the bell rang and we were excused.. I rushed out the door and went straight to the car, to wait for Max if he wasn't already there..

10 minutes passed standing by the car and I was just about to call Max, to see what the hell was taking him so long, but then he and Jackie walked up to me..

"Hey man, ready to go.." Max asked and gave me a fist bump..

"Yeah, let's get going.." I opened the back door for Jackie and waited for her to get seated and then closed the car door for her..

I got in and we took off..

On the way, Mille called Jackie to see if we would do some grocery shopping for dinner before we got there, because there wasn't really anything at her house to eat, so we stopped by the grocery store and picked up something for dinner, some snacks, soda's and icetea..

When we got to Mille's, the front door was ajar for us with a note that says - We are outside by the pool. :)

Jackie quickly got the groceries taken care of and we all walked out to the backyard where Mille, Layla and Mille's little sister Yasmin were chilling by the pool..

"Hi you guys.! You've been quick.." Mille greeted us as we joined them..

"Haha yeah, we split up in the grocery store and got all the things we needed super quickly, so it didnt take long at all.." Jackie laughed, looking at Max, making Mille and Layla look at him questioningly..

"I hate grocery shopping, okay.! It's full of older people and family's that take up a whole aisle when they bump into someone they know.." Max said, annoyed, and all the girls laughed and I couldnt help but chuckle a little too..

Layla was in the pool with Yasmin, just goffying around in the water.. It was nice to see her with a big smile on her lips as she spun Yasmin around in the water and was just enjoying herself.. She was wearing a big t-shirt instead of a bathing suit or bikini and just as I wondered why, Jackie asked her..

"Why are you wearing that t-shirt? Didnt you bring a bikini.?"

"No, I didnt.. I wasn't planning on getting in the pool, but Yasmin wanted to and wanted me to play with her, so Mille gave me one of her old oversized t-shirts to wear.." Layla responded.

I noticed some bruises that were now visible on her arms and wrists.. And it made me remember the story on the campus gossip site and how people have been whispering all day all around campus about Layla showing up, but all those people don't know her story and what horrible things Alex had done to her in the past..

I'm just glad the prick is behind bars and nowhere near her anymore and for Anastasia to have gotten herself expelled for being a b***h to Layla, that was the highlight of the day..
