Diara POV
"Right now, but we still have—" I didn't get to finish my sentence before he placed a hand on the small of my back and steered me to the exit. Sparks erupted on my arm, and my wolf howled in excitement. Kennis was walking towards the garden, and I kept pace with him.
"I can't leave now. I haven't seen the drink's selection yet,"
"You are going to have lunch," he said sternly. "Everything will go smoothly, Diara." he wasn't giving me a choice. It was wonderful hearing my name from his mouth. He rarely used it, but when he did, the butterflies in my stomach became relentless.
"Fine,"
We walked a distance from the pack house and reached the furthest garden. Tall trees surrounded us in a spacious clearing, where a cozy blanket was spread out.
