He bowed as the last customer of the day finally went out of his botique.
Glance, the clothing line that he built over the past years. It is very dear to him as it helped him be what he really wants to be.
"Seokjin..."
He looked at the man who just entered, he welcomed him with a big hug, a smile never leaving his face.
"Why are you here, Chim?" He asked.
"Family dinner in a restaurant near here so I decided to go here for awhile."
Both of them entered Seokjin's office letting the staff closed down the store already so that they could finally go home, it's been a long day for them too.
"So yeah," Jimin shrugged his shoulders, "What's up?"
Seokjin became friends with Jimin in his first year in Los Angeles, the both of them were thrilled by the fact that they're both Koreans.
They also shared the same sentiments.
Not only the fact that they're from the same country but because the reason of Jimin and his family moving here is that, Jimin is like him too— he's able to conceive.
When his family find out about it, they fear for the safety of their son. They know how man who's able to conceive are being selled off or even kidnapped, that's why using their money, they decided to move out of their country.
Unfortunately, Seokjin doesnt have the means to do that earlier to avoid further damage.
Jimin knows a lot about Seokjin, he knows what happened and what pushed Seokjin to go in a foreign country in such a rush time.
When Jimin met them, they're clueless about everything since it's such a different place from the one they're from but it is good, it's as if Seokjin can finally breathe freely but not fully, there's still a heavy feeling lingering on his chest.
"My Aunt wants to go back to Korea."
Seokjin rolled his eyes remembering the conversation that he just had with his Aunt.
She told the beauty how much she missed their country, she wants to go back and is determined to stay there for awhile even if it means she's going to be alone.
"She said she can handle herself." He said.
"Then let her do it. Give her some time, she needs a vacation."
Seokjin rolled his eyes once again, "As if i'll let that happen." He said.
His first year in this country is rough, he got so many troubles trying to adjust.
He left the country but that doesnt mean that the pain and sadness that he felt in his own country wont linger in his system, it did.
Being constantly reminded how that one bastard ruined everything for him, how he wants nothing but freedom but he got wronged for doing something he always longed for.
Luckily, they got back up and Seokjin decided to risk it. He developed a clothing line, in its few months of course it's not doing well not a lot of people are encouraged to even go inside his botique.
But before it reached its one year, it suddenly boomed. And Seokjin is very much thankful for that, it's such a huge help for the family.
Seokjin looked at the time, he stood up and grabbed all of his things.
"I have to go now, Chim." He said.
Jimin also nods his head, the both of them went outside of the office greeting the staff who just finished closing the botique.
"Thank you everyone." Seokjin bowed at every single one of them.
They went seperate ways already, Jimin went inside his car and Seokjin went inside his own one.
He's happily humming to the tune of a song that he heard on the radio early in the morning and it's ticking him off since he doesnt know the title.
Los Angeles, this city developed him into something more than what he already is. He got better, he explored more about himself and he's more outspoken now, voicing out his ideas already.
Sure, there's girls and boys trying to flirt with him but he always gives them a firm no.
He's not here for that, he's never going to be engaged into someone's life, not when everything is doing well for him.
When he arrived at their house, he parked his car slamming the door shut after.
As he went inside, he groaned because of the mess on the floor and how the television is on high volume.
"Mama!"
The four year old kid keeps bouncing on his feet holding both of his hands up wanting to be carried by his mother.
"Clean up your toys, Haneul." He said widening his eyes at the kid.
The little kid's lips tugged downwards as he whimpered trying so hard not to let his tears fall.
He fell on the ground and tried to gather his toys with shaking hands while wiping his teard in his eyes.
Erin walked in the living room, she cant help but to let out a deep sigh. The scene is not new to her already.
It's always Haneul craving for Seokjin's affection especially when he just got home and Seokjin declining it everytime.
Yes, it's been four long years since all of that happened.
Still, it's as if the wound is still fresh and is just covered with a cloth, it would still bleed some time especially as he remembered seeing that name.
Someone used his body and left him like he's an animal, what happened is traumatizing, it broke his heart into pieces that is enough for him to never get the chance to go back up.
And being pregnant because of it, it broke not only his heart but his soul.
Because he knows, he knows how he's going to be reminded by that night everytime he's going to see the child.
He still kept it.
He doesnt know the particular reason why but he did.
He knows that the child is not at fault for everything that has happened. Maybe, maybe that's the reason as to why he did along with the promise of her Aunt that he doesnt need to be with him.
Convincing himself that he shouldnt blame the child for what happened, he always tried to be kind but everytime he meets his eyes, he cant help but to burst out in tears.
He felt bad.
Those innocent eyes, those innocent sparkling eyes that has nothing to do with the sin of that bastard.
He cant look at those beautiful eyes for so long as his heart keeps on getting heavy and it keeps on making him feel angry and frustrated.
In the end, he'll just turn his back on the kid.
