Chapter 36

2557 Words

Sebastián’s POV Seeing her fade before my eyes was one of the worst experiences I could have lived through. After Amaia’s death, I closed myself off from all human interaction and emotions, stopped suffering for the rest, and focused only on myself, so this whole situation has me on edge. But seeing Isabella in that way, protecting me from any harm, ignited something in my heart that was definitely dead and that thanks to her came back to life. Why did she do it? I have no idea, but I do consider it was quite stupid of her. Maybe, but that doesn’t justify her action, she could have been seriously hurt or even worse. How could she dare to intervene in this situation? When Rebecca barged into my room, I already knew something was wrong. She came in with a disturbing smile on her face.
