I was happier than a dog with three tails. Holy Jesus, she finally said yes.
If there’s something I should be grateful for about everything that happened that day, it’s the fact that I was with my daughter, that everyone was okay, and that Isabella finally gave me the opportunity to show her that I can be better than what she thinks.
But her saying yes doesn’t mean I have anything guaranteed. On the contrary, I have to work even harder for us to move forward.
