It took over a month for Dale to see any improvement in Amelia's mood. She was almost back to her old self. She'd began making plans to go back to the office and even set up a coffee date with her best friend. Though he was concerned about how sick she’d been getting, she assured him all was well. “It’s just the change in food and water,” she’d told him. It seemed she was throwing up a lot, but every time he asked her about it, she told him it was nothing. “Dale,” Amelia said, coming into the library, “I’m going to meet Carol for coffee tomorrow morning. Do you mind?” “Not at all darling,” he replied, standing and walking to meet her, “I think that is a wonderful idea. She’s been calling here almost non-stop since I told her you’d been found.
