“You okay?” Davina whispers, her voice snapping me out of reverie. My brain is working overtime to make sense of last night’s dream, finding it impossible. Any silence is followed by him, teasing and taunting my imagination. Perversions I avoid becoming the thing I desire most. The thing I crave. “Aves?”
