Jessica's POV
"No... Please don't... No... No!" I screamed, as my eyes flew open.
It was that damned nightmare again.
I stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom, rinsing my face with cold water. I still didn't understand what the dream meant, and why I kept having it.
For some reason, I have never gotten to see the face of the woman who kept chasing me. Yet, it was like I knew her. There was this sense of familiarity that always overwhelmed me whenever she got close to me.
I took a shower, letting the cold water wash away the fear and cold sweat that had broken all over my body.
I stayed there for a few more minutes. There was so much I needed to let go of and forget.
