Eighteen Years Ago
"One... Two... Three..." Lloyd counted as he leaned on the wall.
Michael and the other kids ran as fast as they could away from him, looking for a safe hiding spot.
Everyone thought he wasn't very good at the game. His friends had teased him for always being an easy find for Lloyd.
He only did it because he didn't want his six-year-old brother to feel sad and cry for not finding anyone. But this time he wanted to do something different. He wasn't going to let anyone find him easily.
He ran through the empty hallways, avoiding the guards as he headed toward his parent's room. No one would ever think of looking for him there.
