Chapter 2 Antonia Juarez rubbed the back of her neck and wished she could remove her clogs and rub her feet instead. She was on shift for another hour, and those sixty minutes were far fewer than the hundreds she’d started out with this morning, but still, she wanted home. Stat. It had been a shitty night.
