“Piper, come sit!” Blake shouted over the noise of the crowd.
I turned back and smiled at her. It was insane. It should have been my night off, but I felt bad leaving Hudson without the extra help. I held up a finger for Blake to wait and went in search of Hudson.
He was behind the bar like always, serving drinks as fast as he could. Tony, the other bartender, was right beside him, doing the same.
I pushed my way to the front of the line and asked, “Do you want me to help?”
Hudson looked up long enough to see who was talking to him and shook his head. “We’ll be okay.”
