James rushed out the next morning and we didn’t talk much through the week. He was putting in extra time at work to be off for Saturday, and I was doing the same. I wanted to have pieces to give to everyone who was there, if I could make it happen. Even with my grandma helping, it wasn’t an easy task, but I wanted to do it.
Saturday morning, Karissa and Finley came up to my condo so we could all ride together to Oak Hill. I told them about Elizabeth Joseph and they were both excited at the opportunity to be interviewed by her also.
“Have you heard from James today?” Finley asked as we walked downstairs with all the supplies for the day. We were bringing our own stuff to giveaway to people and had contributed to the food and drinks that James and Ian were getting to the event.
