Chapter 7A black cloud hung over me as I left the Pink p***y Cat Lounge. I hadn't got squat from Scarlett in the way of news that would satisfy my employer. Worse, I had left in such a huff that I had forgotten to polish off the last of the sugar-coated peanuts. I felt like going back inside and getting them before Florian got to them, or demanding that he give me some more to take with me.
