With the Ingrants’ inability to take responsibility for their earlier assault, Elijah was forced to ask them once again, “Did you or did you not plan with Joseph the execution of everyone outside of your group?”
When most of the members failed to respond, one of the audacious individuals among them stepped up. He was Edgar. Unlike others, he had no problem addressing the problem at hand. “The attack was decided by all of us collectively. No one person should be held accountable. Hence, you must let Joseph go.”
“Let him go? No, we can’t do that. You guys caused the death of one of our members,” declared Holly with her arms crossed.
