Julian’s POV
“What are the updates?” I say over the phone to Ada, watching my mate sleep peacefully. She looked dazzling with her eyes shut and her little body snuggled up in the bed.
It was barely seven in the morning but I couldn’t seem to sleep anymore so I decided to call Ada to get updates on our military force.
Those werewolves could attack any day for all I know.
“There’s nothing new. Although, Alpha Benjamin has become really brazen these days. I wouldn’t be surprised if he disobeys you and decides to go after Grace and her family.” I clench my fists at this new information.
I should have killed that old man when I had the chance. The nerve of him to plan an attack against me when I spared his miserable life.
I will make him regret his decision.
