I watched as Money led her away, with Rabbit following as backup. Since I couldn't get her to the office because of the super cop asshole here, I didn't want to take any chances of someone getting to her. Super Cop, who thought he could put his hands on me, stood there.
"If you are so worried about your girl, why bring her along?" he asked, looking to where Piper had just walked.
"Do you have anything useful for me?" I snapped at him. It was none of his business to ask about Piper.
"I do have some questions about what happened."
I fought the urge to roll my eyes at him. Why the hell is he asking me what happened? He knows I wasn't here.
"Like what? As you know, I was not here when the fight broke out, so I would assume you would want to speak with someone who was."
