I couldn't see anything, but the sound of Gunner's voice, the anger in it, made me worry as to who was standing there.
"Oh yes, it is. You see, I was going to just keep her and go back to how we were before all this happened, but now I have no desire to. I can find another one like her; she is nothing more than a dime a dozen. I can pick someone up just as easy," Peter voiced out.
I wasn't sure if I felt relief or not.
"He is not touching her." Gunner all but growled.
Laughing followed. "And what makes you say that, huh? There is nothing you can do to stop him."
