Rechecking the time, I grumbled under my breath. Bash looked over.
"You good?" He asked; he knows I'm on edge.
"Yeah, just want to get this done."
He nodded. "Pip goes to see Doc today?"
"Yeah, he said for her to be there at noon, and it's almost nine, and this fucker hasn't left this dam building."
We had met up at five this morning, tailing that asshole from his apartment once he left. Rubble and FP were going to try to gain access to his place; Shadow said the girl was still there, but when he saw her yesterday, she was sporting some bruises on her face and was limping. He was doing the same to her as he did to Piper, but this girl was young, maybe a few years younger than Piper.
They were gonna try to get her to go with them. Hopefully, she was smart enough to get out
