My body felt stiff and rested as my eyes flickered open. I took in my surroundings.
Suddenly, I noticed my position. My body leaning on Nora's warm body, my leg stretched across her bare legs. I swallowed hard. Fighting my desire to grab her tighter. I knew if I opened my eyes fully and took in her entire, sleepy self, it would be my undoing.
"Oh, sorry." I muttered, recoiling my body away from the increasing desire that was building inside of me.
"It's fine. I actually slept so well." Nora said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Same. It has been a very long time since I had slept right through the night..." I admitted, trying to think back to the last time I had a night without nightmares. I honestly, couldn't recall a full nights sleep.
"I'm glad you stayed last night." Nora smi
