I was pacing back and forth in my room reeling from my run in with Jameson. I wanted to scream and hide and disappear all at the same time.
"My cousin is coming around now, is that still OK?" Chloe called from the other room. I had forgotten that I had agreed to that. It wasn't as if I could back out now.
"Yep, that's fine. I'll be out in a minute!" I replied.
I flopped backwards onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. I watched the fan spin around and around.
