I laid there staring at the roof of my tent. I watched as the waterproof material gently swayed in the breeze that was outside the tent. It was soothing but apparently not soothing enough to put me to sleep. My mind was running wild. I had so many things to worry about and figure out that I couldn't shut it off. I needed to find out more about this corrupt Alpha that Penelope got herself involved with and how he is connected to Alpha Theo's birth father. I also needed to figure out what this all had to do with me and what the next step in Penelope's plan was. All the while, I needed to decide when and how to tell Nora about everything.
Then, just to top everything off, I have Jameson stirring trouble with my mate. As if my plate wasn't already overflowing.
