Kael moved cautiously, wolf form flexing with every step, muscles taut and ready. Beside him, Nara’s silver glow radiated steadily, a calm center amid the growing chaos.
Lyra clung to her side, small and trembling, yet her golden eyes burned with determination. Despite her exhaustion, she had learned to stabilize the weaker awakened, her power a fledgling beacon amidst the storm.
Riven patrolled the perimeter, scars of the previous clash still fresh, alert for any sign of the Queen’s next move.
