CHAPTER 10THE LOST CHILDREN THE DRACO SNAPPER SWAM alongside the floating trail till the southeastern edge of the marshes protruded from the low-wafting fog. The ancient turtle drifted to a halt and lowered its head to the docks. Baelwyn was the last of the boys to disembark. He turned around and extended his arm. “Tank you, Mr. Snappy.” The turtle lifted its gigantic snout towards the little mage and closed its eyes at the touch of his hand. The draco snapper blew a slimy gust of air in the form of gratitude, and then sank back into the marsh.
