Renkuth couldn’t believe his eyes as he watched Noldo stand tall. Noldo’s voice quivered. “Liam?” “Noldo,” Renkuth whispered. “What the hell are you doing?” “It’s him, Ren,” Noldo replied. “It’s him.” Noldo sounded like a madman. He swung his leg over the side of the carriage. “Stop!” Renkuth said. It was no use. Noldo was entranced. He slid over the side of the carriage and lowered himself to the earth. Renkuth grimaced. “Damn you, Noldo! Get back here!” Noldo carefully stepped toward the kal’daka. “Liam?” The kal’daka roared ferociously. Noldo stumbled backwards but he regained his balance.
