All day Adriel worked to build the pyre that would hold Kele's body. Sadness hung over the village like a blanket. Everyone walked around with mournful looks on their faces. Tonight we will send Kele to be with the Goddess. I went with Elizabeth to Mother Kai's house to help prepare the body. We dressed her in a beautiful dress that Tehya had picked out for her.
