When I woke I heard two men talking in the front room. The voices were muffled behind the closed door. I dressed quickly and found my shoes under the bed. I put myself together as much as I could.
I opened the door to find Adriel and Osborne sitting at the table together sipping coffee. The conversation stopped when I opened the door.
"Don't mind me." I said, hoping they would continue the conversation.
"So, what are you going to do now?" Adriel asked.
"I was thinking I would ask Alpha Chayton if I could just stay here with Maji. I do not want to take her from her family and I do not want to go back." Osborne explained.
