Eleanor wrapped up her work earlier than expected and went towards the living room seeing Emily and Kate waiting for her along with Oliver, Matt, David, and Crystal.
“So are we ready to go?” Eleanor asked and frowned when she didn’t spot Chloe. “Where’s Chloe?”
“She said she’s not feeling well and asked me to get something for her,” Kate said.
“Okay, then the earlier we leave the earlier we return. Let’s go,” Eleanor said, turning around and bumping into a wide chest. An arm circled around her waist to steady her, and she looked up to see Rickard staring at her.
“Oh… Thanks,” Eleanor said and tried to control the smile that was breaking out on her face while standing up straight.
“I hope you weren’t planning to leave without me,” Rickard said, looking at his wristwatch.
“How can I?”
