I know. I know. I was stupid. I shouldn’t have scared her like that. When she flinched at me, it scared me. I almost laid a hand on her and not in a seductive way either. For a moment there, I was my father.
He used to accuse my mother of cheating with everybody and anybody. Doubtful, but still he would threaten to kill her with his bare hands if she ever did.
