He came home that night while I was still asleep. He asked Maria about me and when he came to the room, he brought in the food through a meal tray. He came to me and sat on my side of the bed. Covering my mouth with the duvet.
"Hi babe! How are you?"
"Maria said you didn't eat anything aside from a light lunch."
"Hi, babe, you're home."
"Uhm, I just felt like sleeping."
"How was your meeting?"
"Well, so and so."
"But we got the client."
"You did?"
"What, I'll run to the restroom."
"Hold on to that thought, please."
And I went there and did all necessary things to prepare myself. And came back to bed.
"Okay, back to where we were."
"I knew you would get them."
"That look, that face....uhm, how can they say no."
"Are you pulling my leg?"
