It’s clear to Diana and I that there’s a battle raging outside of the castle, and I want desperately to get out of here, to try to get to my Alphas, so that we can all be together again.
Well, most of us. I still don’t know if Eli has been found yet, but I feel deep inside of me that he hasn’t been. I can sense that the other three Alphas are nearby. It’s part of our bond, I believe. Perhaps it’s our children calling to their fathers. But Eli seems to be missing, and it hurts my heart.
We are back in the room that I woke up in a little while ago, standing near the window. “It’s good that we are in the castle instead of out there on the battlefield,” Diana begins. “Actually, it’s good that we are behind Alpha Kane’s troops and not in front of them.”
