My heart aches so bad I can barely concentrate on the road ahead of me, but I know it’s the only way I’m getting to Rose. It feels like I should just jump out and shift, and it’ll go faster, but I know that’s not possible right now with my hand injury.
In fact, it’s hard to even steer the van with the way my hand is wrapped up right now. I just have to hope this piece of s**t gets me there. If it does, I’m going to have every mechanic in my pack work on this thing to restore it to completely brand-new condition, then I’m going to keep it forever. I’ll pay Pete, or whoever owns it in his group of rogues, good money.
