Then we both chose either side of the sofa and slept. In the morning, I woke up and realized that my leg was on Sam and his hand was on my face. I slowly started to move but then he woke up. "Oh s**t, I'm sorry, I move a lot" he said, rolling away. "Well, its fine because I usually move a lot too", I said. He carefully sat up. I tried to stand and this time Sam was watching me like a hawk. I stood up and finally I could walk around without falling. Sam stood up too and was using his stick. "Hey, um I forgot to tell you but the stitches will have to be removed in a couple of days," he said. "Oh ok, but how did you learn to do all of this?" I asked. "Well my mom was a doctor and I always wanted to be one too so I was taught by her" he said. "Oh wow that's amazing" I said. "Well, it definitely came in handy" he said. We headed to the kitchen to make food. I had cereal left, so we ate that. I made my way to the door to get a breath of fresh air. Then I heard a sound. I could hear a baby. I peeked out the door. "Sam, come here quick" I shouted. He limped to the doorway and we stared at the girl on the floor. She looked like she was dead but she was breathing. There was a boy who was passed out and he was holding a baby. I dragged the girl’s body in. Sam shook the boy. "Hey, are you OK?" Sam said. The boy groaned and he turned around. There was blood dripping from his head all the way to his neck. He had curly black hair and really dark brown eyes. I pulled the girl’s body to the sofa. I went back to get the baby and the boy. Sam couldn't carry heavy things or pull up the boy because his ankle was broken. I helped the boy up and held the baby. I led them to the sofa. The boy sat down looking dazed. I handed him the baby. Sam and I turned to the girl. Her arm looked like it was broken. And there was blood all over her. Then I took off her cut up shirt. I gasped. Her stomach was bleeding and there were claw-like scratches there. They were on her back too. I quickly grabbed water and washed off the blood. It looked like the blood flow had mostly stopped. Sam put cream all over the wounds and tightly wrapped gauze on her. Her elbow looked broken. Sam felt her elbow and got to setting it. I turned to the boy. I went up and got a couple of blankets and a towel soaked with water. I sat next to the boy and cleaned the blood off his face. Then, using a bandage, I wrapped it around the nasty cut on his head. I had a look at the baby and thankfully it wasn't hurt. I turned back to Sam and he had finished putting her arm back in place. Then he made a splint for her arm. Then I placed a blanket on her to cover her up. I grabbed a couple of chairs and we sat on them. The baby was crying. " Give me the baby", Sam said. Now that he was sitting down, he could easily hold it. In a couple of minutes, it stopped crying and was asleep. What's your name?" I asked the boy.
