I fell into the cold hard floor with a loud thud. I slowly opened my eyes and found myself lying on the cold hard floor. I was definitely sure that my ankle was bruised. I felt dazed for a moment and my eyes widened as the darkness stared at me right in my face. I immediately stood up and looked at my surroundings. There were huge candelabras hunged by the wall, each holding at least five candles. My eyes wandered around the huge space and the strong thick walls. By this time, I was sure no one could hear me even if I screamed. I let out a loud sigh and finally stared at the flight of stairs before me. I couldn't help but wonder what this place was hiding.
