Dyl
I was relieved when I found Erin in that hallway with my family. After I realized my emotions was tied to swooshing the fire away. After Erin told me what Jason said about us being decedents from elementals it all made sense. I have the power of Spirit. Probably, was why I was so in tuned with Erin's feelings. It actually made me relax a bit because I thought It was something else.
Luckily when Ty defeated the Roarin we found Emma's room and got her out of that hospital. Kal came with us to our house cuz’ he was greatly traumatized by the whole ordeal and I bet Ry was as well since he was trapped under the bed with him as well. Also him be a human torch and all. He had no idea how to control it. His powers didn't turn off until we stepped in the house it was like a switch turned it off.
“Are we going to talk about how we all got powers?! Also how the only ones who didn't are Kal, Erin, and Emma! I’m just greatly freaked out.”
“Well Dyl they already them.” Reme says sarcastically and roll his eyes at me.
“Shut up! I’m just trying to get the facts right, we’re descendants from elementals, why didn’t our parents never tell us this Jason, and you only knew?”
“I didn’t want Ty and Ry to know because mom and dad said that they would never manifest in us since it didn’t in them, I mean if both of their parents were elementals and they didn’t get any powers they thought it wouldn’t manifest in their boys.” Jason says and look down at Emma who was sleeping soundly on the couch with head rested in Jason’s lap.
All of us that was in the living just stared at Jason which made Jason feel uncomfortable. Jason wanted to protect his brothers he thought their powers weren't going to ever manifest if he thought they would he would’ve prepared them for what’s to become. Unimaginable danger is about to come their way and there was nothing he could do but to tell them what his parents told him.
“I’m sorry, boys I know me taking over the parent role was never fair especially for Reme and Dyl because they never met mom and dad but I had to protect you guys. And if I told you guys that we even could have powers of elements and you told other people we could’ve been in danger but I guess it doesn’t matter now since danger is coming to us now,” Jason shaked his head in distressed and looked back at Emma and he seemed to visibly calm down. “Mom and dad said once an elemental is known Roarins will raise up from hell again. They are mortal enemies of elements. Demons fighting against angels. And yes Reme elementals are half angels.” Jason says once he saw the confusion on Reme’s face.
“So it wasn’t a coincidence that Roarin showed up in Erin’s hospital room? Because he sensed me?” Ry asked but Erin began to shake his head in confusion.
“What Erin, you got another idea?” I ask him and take his hand in mine to calm him. Sitting next to him on the couch like always. Ry was on the couch across from us with Kal beside him and Emma laying on Jason on the long couch in the front of the tv.
“The Roarin s***h demon or whatever it is, was already in the room before Ry came back. I know because I felt something rise on the back of my neck while Kal was talking to me and he was looking down before he could’ve saw it.”
“I felt my hairs rise on the back of my neck too Erin, I just thought someone was watching me while I talked to you.” Kal confirmed and we all looked shocked at this new information.
“What else aren’t you telling us. Jason?!” Ry stands up livid and so was I that he was holding more from us.
For the first time ever did I see Jason sweat.
“Well, if Ry wasn’t in the room before the Roarin showed up and sniffed Erin and Kal out, then either one of you guys are an elementals mate. A Roarin never just go after a spearintink they are attracted to elementals and their mates and that’s it. A spearintink is too low in power.”
“So what you’re saying is that either Kal or Erin is a mate of an elemental?” Ry and me ask at the same time shocked.
“Or both of them are.” Jason whispers.
“What? f**k that!” Kal says and raises from the couch and storms out the living room and eventually the house.
“Well I’m shocked.” Erin says and squeezes my hand back for comfort and I smile at him.
“That’s not all, Kal probably should’ve stayed for this as well,” Jason says and shakes his head swiftly and it seemed like Emma was finally waking up from all the commotion. Her big brown eyes finally landing on Jason and calming smile appeared on her face. “Glad your up beautiful how you feel?”
“Like I got struck by lightning.”
“The sensation will go away.” Erin tells her reassuringly
“Anyway, once a Roarin have your sent it’s for life.”
“You’re right Jason, Kal should have stayed for that.”
