~The Beginning~

Dyl “Why do I feel like my family are the only ones who don’t have powers, and we’re just plain old human?” I ask my best friend Erin who’ll make me feel better by coming up with some crazy theories. “I don’t know, maybe you guys are like elementals and your powers are developing late. But I mean why would anyone want powers anyway they are a real hassle.”Erin says back with a cheeky smile that I love so much. My eyes got big thinking that and just shake out of it. Elementals, are people with the power of fire, wind, water, earth, and spirit. “Erin, do you know how stupid that sounds. The elementals have been extinct for years, ten years to be exact and actually we would have to be a descendant from one of them too, and last time I checked my parents were just low level spearintinks.”A Spearintink is an apprentice to an Elemental so elementals can teach lower level powers how to use their magic. “Also what do you mean powers are a hassle? Erin you just turn invisible.” I laugh out and Erin bunches up his face. Upset as usual when we talk about his powers. “I don’t go invisible! I go transparent! I have transparency.” Erin yells and then we hear laughing behind us and know it’s Elle making fun of us again for fighting over this. “You know you guys fighting is the highlight of my day.” Elle says to us while she walks next to us going to our first period class in the hallway of the Great Dain High school. Since all the special kids go here in a normal high school with regular kids the fighting rate spiked up. The government used to have a special school for just the magical kids but Wentworth Academy had to be close down. Wentworth Academy was the elite school for Elementals and Spearintink’s. It shut down because all of the elementals had died, So there wasn’t anyone else to teach the spearintinks. Elle flips her midnight black hair with pink strips to make a point that we’re acting like a married couple again. Knowing Elle, she always likes to insert a girly jester at us, so it could mean many of things. Elle is that type of chick that’s punk rock, and kind of hates life at the same time but she has a good reason. Elle is one of my friends next to Erin that I won’t let anything happen to them. Elle saw her parents get murdered in front of her when she was seven years old by the roarins. A Roarin- Is an evil demon from the underworld that has came into our realm and the only people who can stop them is the Elementals. “Elle really?”I say annoyed. Me and Erin are just close friends and she knows that. It's freaking getting on my nerves now. “What, did I hit a cord?” Elle asks ands smirks and Erin just looks confused and run his hand through his short blond crop hair. His blond hair makes his baby blue eyes look so majestic. “What are you guys, talking about?” Erin finally asks from not knowing what me and Elle is up to. “Nothing, let's just get to class.” I tell Erin and pull him along to our first period, which is Algebra. Man I hate algebra! It's a great thing that Elle doesn't have this class with us. *** “I can't wait for tonight!” Erin yells excited. Sitting on my bed flipping through books trying to find information on our school project about full moons and how it affects the atmosphere and such. “I know, it has been awhile since Ry have been home.” Talking about one of my brothers that’s returning from Hong Kong. He just got done with a training expedition, my brother is a professional trainer, helping people from all over the world to lose weight. “But are you sure you want me to come with you to the restaurant? I mean this is a family event.” “Erin, you are family and I’m sure Ry would be happy to see you as well.” I tell him to calm his nerves, I could always tell when Erin was nervous or sick. Actually I could tell any of his emotions that he be having. It's weird at times but I know it's probably because I’ve known him for awhile. “Hey did you know 12th millennium moon is coming out tonight?! Only every thousand years that these types of moons come out. Hey, do you remember when we were in Wentworth Academy all those years ago they said that this type of moon tells us who a elemental is! Or unlock an elemental powers and they could have not known that they are one.” Erin says excited, he’s been wanting to find an elemental ever since they've been extinct. “No Erin, I didn't know that but what does that have to do with our project, I mean this is a madane school.” I laughed at him and his pink cheeks heat up in embarrassment. I pinch them because I couldn’t resist and he laughs trying to fight me off. We ended up on the floor with him on top of me still laughing. I love these moments where we are completely happy. I hold his waist and he looks down at me and I look through his baby blue eyes and I could feel his admiration. But what is he admiring? I didn't have enough time to analyze what he was feeling because my bedroom door opened and Erin got off of me. I still had my arm around his waist not wanting to let him go of him for a reason. It was my freaking twin that barged inside my room without knocking. “What do you want Reme?” I ask him annoyed. “Whatever do you mean brother? I just wanted to see you, and see if your happy as me that our brother is returning tonight? but I see I have interrupted something.”Reme says with a smirk on his face. I just shake my head at his nonsense and Erin slips away from my arm around him and sits on the bed. “Whatever, Reme of course I am happy Ry is returning he’s been gone for too long.” I tell him and shrug. “Glad to hear that.” I raise my brow up at that statement but don’t say anything. “Where is that heathen you call your friend?” “You mean Elle?” “Yeah Elle I have some unfinished business with her.” Reme says pissed off. His emotions went from 0 to 100 real fast. “At home?” He’s kind of freaking me out now. “Reme leave her alone, whatever you did just leave it alone.”I tell him firmly. “How do you know it's something I did?!” Reme yells pissed off. “Because it's always YOU that did do something.” I tell him truthfully, I mean no one outside of this family likes Reme because he is an asswhole. “Whatever, tell Elle that I know what she did and that I’m coming for her, she better watch her back.”Reme says out in a sneer. “What did Elle do?” I ask curiously. “None of your damn business, Dyl.” “Hey! Don’t talk to me like that.” “Whatever, I’ll meet you both at the restaurant, I’m out of here.” Reme says and stomps out my room. “Your brother has issues.” Erin says and runs his hand through his hair again. “Tell me about it.”
