~A Roarin Among Us~

Two weeks later

“How come I still haven't seen Dyl or Emma yet, but all of you?” I ask the Holden family.

It seems the gang got electrocuted that day after I was out.

“Well, they are the ones that were more in a critical condition so the doctor is keeping them under observation just for another day.” Jason tells me and the rest just nods their heads. My hospital door opens and it was Kal coming in to check up on me. I hear Ry growl something incoherent so I just ignore him.

“How is my favorite patient doing?” Kal ask and push his glasses up that keeps falling down to his nose. I laugh and say “better than yesterday, when do you think I'll be out this joint Kal?”

He laughs and say “that's totally up to the doctor. But it looks like today.”

“Yay!” I scream and the Holden family laughs at me.

“I believe that all of you guys were also on the lightning incident as well?” Kal ask greatly intrigued.

“Yeah we were, and?” Ry says rather rudely.

“Ry!” Me and Jason yell.

“It's fine, I can clearly see that the incident left him rather traumatised.” Kal says and then smirks at Ry. Ry growls and says; “No it didn't you…!”

“Am I missing something? Do you two know each other?” I ask greatly confused.

“Yeah me too.” Ty says and raise his hand rather dorkly.

“These two been having beef since high school.” Jason says and slaps the back of Ry’s head.

“Get over it then, Kal is the one that saved my life!”

“Thanks Erin.” Kal says smugly.

“If you don't…” Ry was about to say but Kal beat him to the punch.

“If I don't what? Ry your threats are as idle as your…”

“Woe, woe let's stop it there before it gets out of hand guys.” Jason says trying to diffuse the situation.

“Whatever, I don't know why anyone would hire a crazy motherfucker…”

“Well, Ry I can actually save lives as a nurse. Hints Erin!” Kal yells ot frustratingly. Ry puts up his middle finger and walks out my room, but while he did he slammed my door on the way out.

“Wow, it kind of looks like you guys have more than beef between the two?” I say kind of questionable. Kal just shakes his head.

“Hey, are you going to check on my brother’s condition?” Reme says for the first time out of this whole debacle.

“Yeah, I'm actually friends with the nurse that's on his case. I’ll have an update on him in no time.”

“Thanks Kal!” Jason, Ty, and Reme say all at the same time.

“No problem.”

“Ok, it seems like…” Ry stops in the middle of his sentence when he walks in my room. I thought it was because of Kal being there briefing me on my departure from the hospital. But I was so wrong.

“Aaahhhh!” Ry suddenly screams and his whole body starts to heat up. Ry was on fire! Like his whole body was!

“What the…”I couldn't even process it because the window behind me and Kal exploded. Glass going everywhere. And a big black glob of smoke came through it. Ry hurried up and got Kal out of the way I ran into the hospital hallway. When I turned back around Kal and Ry was stuck under the hospital bed trapped! I was about to help them but Kal shook his head no. The glob of smoke was blocking them in there! I need to get others to help them. But wait a minute! How the hell is Kal not burning up if Ry is still a human torch right now? He is like literally holding Kal to him under the bed. Even the bed is burning away! They aren't going to have cover for long! Wait! Is that glob forming feet right now?! It just f*****g turned into a grey scaley person with black eyes! OMG! I know what that is that is a Roarin! I recognize it from old pictures I see in the old textbooks from Wentworth Academy! f**k I definitely need to get help now.

“What the f**k?!” I whisper yell to Ry. “How in the hell am I not burning up right now?” I ask Ry greatly confused.

“Sssh, we are currently hiding from a Roarin right now I appreciate it if you be quiet.” Ry whispers. All I see when I look back at him is flames in the shape of a face. I'm kind of freaked out that he's all fire and kind of freaked out that I'm not dead right now.

“Your lucky Roarins can't see or hear well, or it would've found us already.” Ry whispers back.

“Huh? What the hell's a Roarin?!”

“I don't have time to explain this to a spearintink.” Ry says frustratingly. “Erin better hurry back with help.”

“Where the f**k have you guys been?!” I yell when I see Reme, Jason, and Ty laughing it up in the cafeteria.

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you guys! A f*****g Roarin is in my hospital room right now as we speak!” I yell

“Yeah right, they are extinct since the elementals all died.” Ty says laughingly.

“Well they aren't and Ry is on f*****g fire! Under the bed with Kal hiding from it! Come on now guys!” I yell at them and their eyes got big. Other people in hospital looked shocked as well. Until they started hearing screaming coming from all other sides of the hallway that leads to the cafeteria.

“s**t this is real.” Reme says bewildered.
