I nervously kept playing with my shake as I kept wondering where the hell Xain was,

I picked up my phone and decided to call him again

"Where are you asshole

I said code red"

I snapped at him once he picked the call

"Calm your titties young Lady

You do realize that you made that call about 3 minutes ago

I just left my office i will be with you very soon and don't make any rash move before I get there Hold on princess your prince charming is coming with full force" He said and hanged up before I could say anything

"Asshole"

I said in a low voice and after few minutes of playing with the straw and looking at my phone I decided to do the safest thing I could think of before I actually end up doing something I might regret

"Sophie i need you to hold my phone till Xain gets here" I gave it to her

"Xain is coming over?” She collected it and placed it on the table

"Yes

Now I need you to put my phone in your bag and don't bring it out until he gets here" I kept eyeing the phone till she kept it away

"Phew.……....

Now tell me about your sleepover" I asked her as I tried keeping my mind busy from the text

"You will not believe what Maria did with her arms last night……......"

I drowned the rest of her words away as my mind kept wondered off back to searching my brain for some information on this mystery guy but my memory was still fuzzy and all I could remember was calling him my knight in shining armour

"Argh…………....."

I dropped my head on the table frustrated

"I know right

I also felt the same way at the moment so I tried telling her but she insisted that...…….."

I guess my misery was agreeing with her story cos she continued talking about what Maria did or did not do, not noticing I was far from listening to anything that was coming out of her mouth

The entrance bell rang as Xain walked in slowly clearly trying to irritate but I was too tired from everything going on I didn't even have the strength to attack

So I just sat there and waited for him to get here

"This must be really serious

You didn't even attack me" Xain said as he sat down

"Hey chipmunk

Xain asked playing with Sophie's hair "Stop playing with you hair

I am not a dog" she complained as she slapped his hand from her hair and repacked it

It's your fault for packing your hair that way, It is too cute for me to resist"

He grumbled as he messaged his red hand

"Seriously?" She asks, surprised

"Will you two stop with your mouse and cat game

Xain can you be the adult this once and let this go" I stopped them both before they start biting each others head off

You have a lot of homework to catch up on" I brought money from my purse and gave her

I was about to eat some fantastic apple pie before you called but i guess i can manage some treaties till i go back

Get me the biggest doughnut and a Banana milkshake, you can keep the change for your service"

She happily collected his money and went off

"Stop bribing my sister dickhead

If she turns to a spoilt brat I will barbeque you alive" i smacked him as I picked up my phone "Ouch………..

Firstly it was my hand now my back I am surrounded with bullies" he cried out loud as he tried message his back

"Be the big boy for once and help me out here" I opened the message and showed him

After 2 minutes of him still reading the message me arms were beginning to hurt

So i tried bringing my arms back but he grabbed my hands before I could

"Come on man

My arms are beginning to hurt, It's not like you’re reading a romance novel you should be done by now" I tried removing my hands as I continued complaining

"Will you stop shaking like a jelly and let me do what I....do……......"

"Ah....ah...ah" I cried out in pain as I felt a sudden sting of pain when he pulled me

what's wrong" He dropped the phone and rolled my sleeves up to reveal a big red mark on my wrist

"What the hell" I breathed out as I stared at the strange big mark on my wrist

"Vee what is that" Xain yelled as he grabbed my hands

"Birthmark" I blurt out the first thing that came to mind as I tried removing my hands from his graps

"This isn't a joke Valeria

So you better start talking" He said with a serious face and I knew there was no way I could brush this away

"I have no f*****g idea" I sighed frustrated

"That is not an answer

You have a f*****g bruise on your wrist" He shouted making me angry

"You think I don't know that Xain

Cos I do and it scares the s**t out of me not knowing how it got there" I shouted back banging my head on the table

Come on let's go over everything you remember from last night every detail matter" he raised my head from the table

"I mean I remember leaving Aiko to use the toilet and……........."

Come on continue you know what happened just try" Xain pushed me to remember then it clicked

"I ran into a creepy guy who cornered me but I was saved by him before it could get any bad, I think that was how we met" I rushed everything out scared it might go away again

"Wow I think that's how it all went down" I sighed dropped my body down

"I don't even know what to say right now I mean.…………."

"Enjoy sir" Sophie appeared with his snack, dropped it on the table with a little bow

You are dismissed" Xain waved his hand playing along

"I hate to rain on your parade guys

But it is time to go " I said to sophie

“You have a lot of school work to catch up on and we also have a lot of things to sort through So off we go

Come on" I cleared our table picked up my car keys and began dragging them out

"Bye Paul" I shouted as I pushed them out of Kaley's

"Oh before i forget again I met your soul sister yesterday

I can't wait for you two to meet" I told Xain as we got into our separate cars.
