Chapter 7Ether: Willow
There was a knock on the door and Mindalous barged in, telling me to get ready as Ronin would be expecting me in an hour. She handed me towels, clothes to put on and told me nourishment would be ready in thirty minutes in the adjoining room. The clothes that she handed me were a white top and black, stretchy leggings. They were not my style but I was sure clothes would be made for me soon. I was sure of it.
“What does Ronin want with me?” I asked her as she opened the curtains but she walked out without as much as a glance back at me. The help here was so rude. If this were back home, I would have my father fire her, after she had apologized.
