A month had passed and each day brought the same ritual. I got up, showered, ate alone then sparred with Ronin who hardly spoke to me unless it was to order my next move.
We trained seven days a week, most of the time for six to eight hours at a time, either night or day. I don't know when he slept. Not one day did we rest unless he was gone, but that was only for a few hours of the day. Tanikka came on a daily basis to mend my many wounds.
