Chapter 20Earth: Connor
After a long, hot shower I got dressed hoping my dad had cooled off and would give me another chance so I could use the car that night. Usually he calmed down by the next day and I hoped that would be the case this time. I decided to stay out of his way until later when I would sweetly ask permission go out. I was going to be the perfect little bee. Yeah right, I wondered how long that would last.
The rain was slowing down. Not quite to a full stop but if the weather kept heading in this direction my parents would usually allow us to go out. They had a thing about teens out in the rain with little driving experience. I just hoped that Dad would be in a better mood later on.
