I woke to a stinging sensation and found Tanzia rubbing a funny-smelling ointment on both my wounds. She was always good at healing injuries and ailments both mental and physical.
“What's happening to me?” I managed to say, half asleep. “My leg just snapped …” This was becoming far worse than I'd imagined. I'd expected discomfort but not broken bones.
