Billie. My eyelids felt heavy as I forced them to open slowly, blinking against the dimness. The room was darker than mine. The air smelled different too, something sweet mixed with a familiar cologne. A solid warmth pressed against my back, someone’s arm wrapped firmly around my waist, hand splayed flat over my stomach, holding me close.
