Eric's POV
I stare at my phone, it's been an hour since I texted Emily. I hope I didn't scare her off. I'm about to give up hope on receiving a response when my phone buzzes.
*Emily:
Hi Eric. No I don't mind at all. I'm okay thanks and you? Thank you again for saving us. Those girls are just mean, I try to ignore it. Xx
She also added two kisses. I was so worried it was too much. I smile big and Midnight purs in my mind. This started a 4 hour conversation:
*Emily:
What's your favorite colour?
I think about it for a second, it used to be red, but all of a sudden her bright blue eyes pop into my mind
*Blue, and yours?*
*Emily:
I'd have to say purple.
*Me:
What's your favorite type of food?
*Emily:
Pizza... with pineapple on it... I know, I know... shocking... lol and yours?
*Me:
Not that shocking, it's Jake's favorite food as well. Mine is probably a juicy steak, roast potatoes and veggies.
*Emily:
My tummy is growling, you've made me hungry.
Back and fourth our messages went till I had to ask her:
*Me:
So do you have a boyfriend? Or someone you are interested in?
Please say no, please say no... Midnight growls in my mind at the thought of another guy with her.
*Emily:
No, I don't have a boyfriend... I've never had a boyfriend before really. Just no one I've really been interested in.... and you?
Oh thank goodness. Midnight also relaxes and goes back to sleep.
*Me:
No I don't have a boyfriend either. Haha
*Emily:
Good to know... lol.
*Me:
No girlfriend either, well not in a while anyway. I can't say I'm not interested in anyone because I am.
I hit send, then Midnight snarls at me, "You know she's going to think you mean you are interested in someone else right" he says. "No ways surely she must know I mean her", I think. "Girls don't think that way". I look at my phone waiting for a response but I am met with silence.
Shit.

Emily's POV
*Eric:
No girlfriend either, well not in a while anyway. I can't say I'm not interested in anyone because I am.
My heart drops. He just wants to be my friend. He is interested in someone else. I don't know what to reply so I decide silence is best for now. After an hour goes by my phone vibrates:
*Eric:
It's you silly girl. You are the one I am interested in, I didn't make myself clear, sorry. Goodnight and sleeptight xx
I hug my phone to my chest and read the message over and over again with the biggest smile on my face.
*Me:
Oh, good to know. ;) Sleeptight and sweetdreams. Are we going to chat tomorrow again?xx
*Eric:
Ofcourse. Night night xx
I fall asleep and have another dream about my mysterious black wolf with the Cresent on his chest.
